Details: This camp is designed
to help prepare athletes for the next level of high school volleyball.
Existing Newport players only.
- Passing, setting, hitting, serving, defense, blocking
- Team offense, team defense, transitions, serve receive
- The camp is designed for 9th - 12th graders who attend Newport
High School.

Waiting list
policy: Camp enrollment is limited to the first 48 players
who send in their registration form and payment. We will hold the checks of
those who register 49 through 52. If openings come up, we will enroll you in the
camp. After the last day to cancel without a refund, June 20, 2008, we will
return the checks of those who don't get in to the camp. Registrants numbered 53 and above will be put on a waiting list and offered
a place on a first come, first serve basis when notified of additional
openings.
Newport Gold Volleyball Camp
Date: July 10, 11 & 12, 2008
Time:
12:00 pm to 3:00 pm (Beginner to intermediate - Grades 4 to 9)
Place: Newport High School Gym
Cost: $50 includes a
camp t-shirt and camp booklet. Optional Tachikara volleyball is $25 extra.
Instructors: The Newport High School coaching staff plus
current and former varsity players
Details: We will be covering all the different individual and team
aspects of the game.

- The camp is designed for beginning to intermediate
players who have a desire to learn to play a great game. Grades 4-9 will
be included (girls only). Campers will be grouped by ability levels.
